Cat Tervo is a comedian & illustrator who likes to get a little silly with it. She earned her BFA in illustration at the Columbus College of Art and Design in 2016, and is currently based in what she affectionately calls “the little apple” (Appleton, Wisconsin).
Her illustration work intersecst her passion for equality with her passion for fun. This ven diragram has landed her clients such as Planned Parenthood, Cartoon Network, The McElroy Family, Disability Rights Ohio, Kazoo Magazine, and The Working Families Party.
Cat began performing stand-up comedy in March 2025 and is enjoying a modest amount of success tellling her silly haha jokes on stages all across Wisconsin.
She has carefully balanced her creative career by working a designer, illustrator, and artist. She has worked in-house at Cartoon Network, Her Campus Media, Western Digital. She currently works full-time at Sandisk and a senior designer in marketing.
Some of her freelance illustration clients have included Planned Parenthood, Cartoon Network, The McElroy Family, Disability Rights Ohio, Hacienda Beer Co, Good Grit Magazine, Kazoo Magazine, and The Working Families Party.
Cat frequently collaborates with local artists & musicians to create merch & gig posters, and is always open for freelance illustration work in this area.
